Pickpockets and Peasants

Open Letter to Senator Stevens of Alaska,

Please do your country a favor, quit like you threatened to do on the floor of the Senate Chamber. That part of the Capitol Building in its glorious gilded splendor, is the taxpayer’s house, not yours, and you disgraced that chamber this week. You threw a tantrum that would make a spoiled 4 year old proud. You are too old and senile to help your country, so do as you threatened… QUIT NOW.

The 223 million dollars to build a bridge to an island in your state where only 50 people live, is a theft of taxpayers money, a bribe to keep your sorry ass in the Senate.

Taxpayers of America it is time to revolt against these thieves in Washington called Senators. They take almost half of our paycheck to spend like this. It used to be something to chuckle at…lol...pork. Now it is on such a scale that it has become unbearable. They cannot keep on spending like there is no tomorrow. There is a tomorrow, and the children today will have to pay for all the unnecessary largess of the self righteous Senators and Representatives. A crime of monumental proportion is taking place and no one seems to notice.

Let me put this crime in perspective.

For the 223 million dollars that will be spent on a bridge to nowhere in Alaska, the taxpayers could have bought every family on that island, (est. to be 12 families) A Lear Jet, yes a brand new $4,000,000 model, not the economy version.

It would cost about $2,000,000 to keep a pilot on standby for twenty years, at a $100,000 annual salary. So the taxpayers could supply the jets, and pay for a pilot to fly them for twenty years, all for a cost of about 72 million dollars.

Each of these families could also have a cement landing strip poured and paid for by the taxpayers, along with an unlimited supply of jet1 fuel needed for the LearJets. Yes all of this could be done and the total cost to the taxpayers would be less than half the cost of what will be spent on that bridge.

I am not always clairvoyant,
but wait, it is coming into focus..........I can see the name of that boondoggle bridge in Alaska right now....the "Senator Stevens Memorial Bridge". Funny how I can see the future, isn't it?

And to show that the taxpayers aren’t bitter, we could supply these jetsetting Alaskans, all the little bags of honey roasted peanuts they could ever eat. All of this riduculous wasteful spending would not cost half of what will be siphoned out of our pockets to pay for a pork project bridge, that will be dedicated in the honor (LOL) of a bloated, selfimportant, megaegotist and thief, who pretends to be something he never will be...a public servant. If these money grubbing swine of the senate, come to their senses and forget about this bridge, and only buy new Lear Jets for the occupants of that Island, Our nation could use the savings to help the needy hurricane victims. Ah Hem.....the millions of people who lost so much.

Do the math yourself, it may be laughable, but we are the ones who are going to have to pay for this. I don’t care which party he is from…..he is a pompous acting criminal and should be in jail. Thievery on a scale this large makes me want to quit working hard just to pay more taxes for these criminals to steal.

Someone will have to pay for the billions and billions of dollars of pork the Senators and Representatives added to the latest transportation bill. And why President Bush did not veto it, I’ll never understand.

The lowly taxpayers can plainly see that it doesn’t matter who is in the White House, who is in the Senate, or House……Republican or Democrat, they will use the power they have to steal our nation’s blood, the financial blood that is. I am sorry to be so gloomy, but tell me how we will ever be able to pay for all of this? This is only about one States pork; the bill had billions and billions of dollars allocated for wasteful pork projects.

The thought just hit me…… the Washington crowd keeps up bitter partisan fights, to divert our attention while they pick our pockets.

I HAVE HAD ENOUGH. LET’S DO SOMETHING BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.

Hello Jay and other friends,
I really think it is time for all of the citizens to put down our petty differences and take on the task of replacing (completely) the scoundrels in Washington D.C.
It is time to tell them they have reached the limit on their taxpayer credit card.
In the coming months I am going to use this blog to highlight the patriotic and expose the idiotic.
One thing about patriotic, I don't think spending money that the citizens will have to struggle to repay, is patriotic. Waving the red, white and blue while robbing me, is not patriotic. Look, I want us to win the war on Terror, but if when the last terrorist is rounded up, we have a bankrupt nation, and a worthless dollar, that fact will turn our children and children’s children into terrorist. When you pile debt upon a generation, they will look around to see who did it. When they have to struggle just to pay the bills for our greed and lust, they will turn on us. Be prepared to fix the problem or pay the price.
And concerning the war, It is time for someone other than America, Britain and a few other nations to pay for the costly war. Let's see? Who could we get to pay the bills? How about Iraq...such a novel idea, Iraq paying the cost of its freedom. As long as the taxpayers here pay for it, the Iraqi people will let us. I am sure they will be more than willing to pay the bills from now on. America and other nations have shed precious blood for them, and now they can pump a little oil to pay for the bills.
One more thing about the spending orgy in the American Government,
Let's not lay all the blame of the financial mess at the Presidents feet, yet we cannot absolve him completely....he had the veto pen.
And for the next president, we cannot let anyone who has held office while this theft was going on lead our nation. No Senator Hillary, Senator Brownback or Congresswoman Pelosi, Congressman Hastert or anyone else that has helped spend this nation into bankruptcy.
From the individual states, there is a handful of governors, from both parties, who I would exempt from this ban on elected officials leading in the future. That would be the governors who fought for fiscal responsibility and won the battle. I work on the list, but it is sure to be a short list.
Like President Bush looked to a person who has never sat on a judicial bench, to become a justice of the Supreme Court we need to elect some nonpolitical servants....yes servants who will serve the people, not rob the people.
But if we exempt someone from the ranks of the thieves to lead us as a nation, we will continue losing.
Does any of this make sense?
