Pork Per Capita

Don't you hate it when someone calls you a Per Capita?
At first glance this Pork Barrel Fact Sheet doesn't sound that many alarms, until you think about the total. The chart can be enlarged by clicking on it, and you can see there is no rhyme or reason to this treason.......Both Democrat and Republican States take all they can get from the Federal Trough.
Per Capita? Pork? It doesn't seem that bad.
Afterall, my family of three received $93 dollars worth of pork in the state we live in. And our family paid approx. $5,000 in direct taxes, and much more in hidden taxes. So what's the big problem with pork???????
Funny thing is if I was living in Alaska, my family would have had the taxpayers shell out $2,500 for one year of pork.
And didn't the gov build a lot of stuff in Kansas......
Yes, and no.
Look at the total, for all 5o states and the District of Columbia.......Why Alaska, land of gold and oil, sucked millions of dollars out of our pockets. I am not saying we should abandon Alaska, or give it back to Russia, but there are some ungrateful Americans siphoning bucks out of your pocket, while they charge you $12 a pound for Crab Legs. The People of America all got together and supplied each Alaskan with almost a thousand dollars of pork. Think. Does Alaska need Pork? Isn't it much too cold for piggies to survive there?
I need to follow up on this post, and give you the facts about who put this chart out. But it all rings true with me............
